Vinton Municipal Communications Utility (iVinton) Director of Communications
The Vinton Municipal Communications Utility is accepting applications for a full time Director of Communications for the Vinton Municipal Communications Utility. This position will include the development and implementation of a strategic plan to advance the company’s vision, mission, strategies and objectives. The Director of Communications will promote revenue, profitability and growth as an organization as well as manage the existing customers and network.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required in Business, Finance and/or Accounting field. Five years experience in Executive Level Management for a corporation (communication industry preferred) and/or substantive business unit with P&L responsibility. Working knowledge of MS office. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. Must be willing and able to reside (or relocate within reasonable period of time) within Company’s market area.
