PUBLIC SAFTEY COMMITTEE MEETING

A public safety committee meeting of the City Council of Vinton, Iowa was held on the 13th day of June 2023 at 5:30pm on Riverview Drive, Vinton, Iowa. The following committee members were present: Hessenius, Gates, Parmater.
Committee members discussed the traffic and parking situation of the street. During certain events and vehicles, the street becomes rather congested. There is a worry that emergency vehicles would have difficulty gaining access on the street.
The committee will recommend no parking signs on certain sections of the street at the next City Council meeting.
No council action was taken.
