BUSINESS TYPE ACTIVITES COMMITTEE MEETING

A business type activities committee meeting of the City Council of Vinton, Iowa was held on the 8th day of June, 2023 at 6:30pm in City Hall Council Chambers, Vinton, Iowa. The following committee members were present: Stark, Elwick, Pflughaupt. Mayor Maynard was also present.
Committee members discussed the sanitation rates that will be charged to the residents beginning with the new sanitation contract in July. The rates from the new vendor, S&J Sanitation, have already been agreed to. Historically the City has charged an extra $2 for brush dump and City cleanup day costs.
A recommended fee schedule was given to the City Clerk to use to prepare an ordinance draft for the next city council meeting.
No council action was taken.
