SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
MAY 30, 2023
A special meeting of the City Council of Vinton, Iowa was held on the 30th day of May, 2023 at 12:00 Noon in City Hall Council Chambers, Vinton, Iowa. Mayor Maynard presided via Zoom and the roll being called the following member were present: Stark, Elwick, Hessenius by phone, Pflughaupt by phone, Gates by Zoom; Parmater was absent.
Motion by Pflughaupt, seconded by Elwick to approve the agenda as presented. Question: Ayes – all. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
Mayor Maynard opened the public hearing on the FY23 budget amendment. After no comments, Maynard closed the public hearing.
Motion by Gates, seconded by Stark to approve the resolution amending the current budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023. Question: Ayes – all. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
With no other business before the Council, motion by Pflughaupt, seconded by Hessenius to adjourn the meeting. Question: Ayes – all. The Mayor declared the motion carried. Time: 12:05pm.
